By purchasing any product from Retainers At Home, including Essix retainers (upper, lower, or upper & lower sets), you confirm that:

• You are 18 years of age or older
• You understand that our products are custom-made dental devices
• You accept responsibility for ensuring the product is suitable for your personal dental circumstances
• You will consult a qualified dental professional before use if required

3. Medical & Usage Disclaimer

Our products are designed to assist with orthodontic retention only and are not a substitute for professional dental care.

You agree that you will not use our products if you:

• Have loose, decayed, or damaged teeth
• Have crowns, bridgework, implants, fixed orthodontic appliances, or retainers
• Suffer from gum disease or other untreated oral health conditions

If you experience discomfort, pain, or issues when using our products, you must stop using them immediately and consult a dental professional.

4. Dental Impressions

By ordering from Retainers At Home, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are responsible for taking your own dental impressions
• You must remove any dentures before taking impressions
• We strongly recommend submitting clear photos of your impressions for approval before sending them to us
• If impressions are deemed unsuitable, additional impression material or a replacement kit may need to be purchased
• If you submit impression photos and receive approval, you may be entitled to one free replacement kit if an additional impression is required
• Failure to follow our impression and approval process may affect eligibility for remakes, refunds, or guarantees.

5. Allergies

Do not use our products if you are allergic to Vinyl Polysiloxane (addition silicone) or any related dental impression materials.

6. Custom-Made Products

All retainers produced by Retainers At Home are custom-made to order based on customer-provided impressions or scans.

Once production has begun, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded, except as outlined in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

7. Returns, Refunds & Guarantees

Returns, refunds, remakes, and guarantees are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.

By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted this policy in full.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Retainers At Home shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage
• Any liability arising from the use of our products or services shall be strictly limited to the amount paid for the product or service
• All warranties or remedies outside our published policies are provided solely at our discretion

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
